Registered Nurse NICUFull Time Nights (7p-7a)
The NICU at St. Vincents Southside provides state-of-the-art care in a private room environment conducive to healing and growth for babies who are born prematurely or with conditions that require special attention immediately after birth. We are currently seeking anexperienced Neonatal Intensive Care Nurse to join our dedicated team.

What you will do:
As a NICU Nurse at St. Vincents, you will provide care to our littlest patients who are sick or premature.
We expect you to provide support to the family every step of the way, making yourself available to answer questions and update families concerning the care of your tiny patient.
Implement and monitor patient care plans. Monitor, record and communicate patient condition as appropriate.
Serve as a primary coordinator of all disciplines for well-coordinated patient care.
Note and carry out physician and nursing orders.
Assess and coordinate patient's discharge planning needs with members of the healthcare team.
What you will need:
BLS Providercredentialed from theAmerican Heart Association (AHA)obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.
Certificationspecializing inNeonatal Resuscitationcredentialed from theAmerican Heart Association (AHA)obtained within6 Months (180 days)of hire date or job transfer date.
One or more of the following:
LicensedAdvanced PracticeNurse Practitionercredentialed from theFlorida Department of Healthobtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.
LicensedRegistered Nursecredentialed from theFlorida Department of Healthobtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.
Diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing required
Bachelor's degree in nursing preferred
