To qualify based on education for the GS-5 level youmust a 4-year course of study above high school leading to abachelor's degree with courses related to the occupation, ifrequired. Graduate education or an internship meets the specializedexperience required above GS-5 only in those instances where it isdirectly related to the work of the position.
